Scarce white paper 6.5" x 8" drawing of a German soldier shouting "Achtung" hand-sketched on a passenger transport page in graphite pencil by the Beatles band member Paul McCartney. In very good condition, with some very slight signs of scattered wear, including some creasing, not affecting the drawing. This drawing has a grade of Mint 9. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from JSA (#ZZ02813), Frank Caiazzo, and a Letter of Verification from Grad Authentics (#GA-05525), who has graded this autograph a MINT 9. This incredible sketch dates around the mid 1950s, when McCartney was still a student attending the Liverpool Institute High School, the same school in which he met one of his long-time bandmates, George Harrison. This drawing is not only a great representation of the still recent collective memory of WWII, but also of Paul's unique character and the age he grew up in. A very rare piece of McCartney memorabilia from before the Beatles became the worldwide phenomenon that they are today.
