Description
White paper 7.75" x 3" Ohio Union ticket ballot for the 1864 Presidential election. In very good condition, with some signs of scattered wear, including some toning and creasing. At the very top edge, the country name "Pickaway" is scribbled out and the name "Seneca" is etched in. This ballot was for the Union ticket of Abraham Lincoln and his running mate Andrew Johnson at the height of the Civil War. The ticket additionally lists 21 electors. The top of the ticket features a printed illustration of Lady Liberty holding a sword to represent the Union.
