1950s High-Boy Dresser With Nickel X-Shaped Pulls by Paul Frankl for Johnson Furniture

Description

This vintage gem is designed by the iconic and prolific Paul Frankl for Johnson Furniture Co. retailed by John Stuart in the heart of New York City, circa 1950s. This highboy dresser is made of dark lacquered mahogany featuring a lovely rectilinear composition with beautifully handled detailing. Each of the seven drawers are beautifully balanced at a variety of depths for ample and versatile storage opportunities, all fitted with the distinctive polished nickel X-shaped pulls utilized on a number of Paul Frankl's designs in this series. The double lowboy dresser shown is listed separately.
