1930s Large Art Deco Arrowhead Steel Butchers Hook Wall Rack

Description

This large French Art Deco industrial wall rack is often called a "Dent de Loup" or "wolf's teeth" rack. Masterfully forged from galvanized steel, the backplate houses eight sharp ended hooks and is finihsed on each end with stylized arrowhead finials. These racks were originally used for hanging meat in traditional butcher shops (boucheries) but they are now highly sought-after industrial-style wall racks for coats, pots, or utensils
