Description:
A Chinese black lacquer bar cabinet features a two-door front and a lift-top mechanism that reveals an interior configured for bottle and glassware storage, decorated with hand-painted gilt accents and chinoiserie scenes depicting figures in a garden landscape rendered in relief using molded acrylic inlays designed to simulate traditional soapstone and mother-of-pearl, doors are secured with brass hardware, including a central pin-lock latch and decorative corner hinges, sides are fitted with brass carrying handles, and the entire piece sits on a recessed plinth base.
