Description
Literatur: Marco Antonetto, „Rectaflex The Magic Reflex“, S. 164ff.
Very early third version of the Rectaflex Rotor (the production begun with number 30450), with revolving lens turret, pistol grip and rare rifle attachment with strap. A first prototype was initially manufactured on behalf of Federico Patellani. A small series of this camera was later produced for other photographers. The outfit offered here represents an export version for the US market. Only 50–75 of these cameras were ever produced.
With three matching, original lenses manufactured for the US market, with coarsely knurled distance setting rings: Angenieux Type Z2 50 mm f/2.9 No. 143329 (haze, slight fungus), Angenieux Type R11 28 mm f/3.5 No. 278366 (slight haze and fungus), Angenieux Type Y1 90 mm f/2.5 No. 160904 (cleaning marks, haze and slight coating defects on front element).
Literature: Marco Antonetto, „Rectaflex The Magic Reflex“, p. 164ff.
