This Lladro glazed porcelain figurine is titled Bashful Bather, model number 5455. The piece depicts a young girl with a light brown ponytail kneeling as she gives a bath to a spotted, floppy-eared dog. The girl is dressed in a blue short-sleeved shirt and a pale green skirt covered by a white apron. She holds a scrub brush to the back of the dog, which sits inside a tan-colored washbasin. The underside of the washbasin features a blue printed factory mark consisting of the Lladro bellflower symbol above the name LLADRO, followed by LHO 75, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and a copyright date of DAISA 1987. The underside of the kneeling figure is incised with the model number 5455 and the letter Y, accompanied by a single circular vent hole. This model was designed by sculptor Juan Huerta and first issued in 1988.
