This pair of German cast pewter schnapps spoons was produced by WMF as part of the Alte Meister series. The handles feature high-relief cast scenes based on seventeenth-century Dutch paintings, specifically Hendrick Sorgh's The Lute Player and Rembrandt's Self-portrait with Saskia.

Both spoons are in excellent vintage condition with light surface tarnish and minor handling marks. The original presentation boxes show visible shelf wear, including rubbing at the corners and light scuffing to the printed surfaces.
