Description:An Alberto Juan piece, from my one of a kind collection designed for photo shoots, runways, and events.
This piece is called "La Maharani", the female version of the Maharaj.
Made from an Indian necklace, anklets, and tikka all vintage parts of sterling silver and enamel.
Thanks to the great craftsmen of far east I could source these pieces.
Necklace measures 18" with another 8" hanging down the center for a complete bib effect of 26".
Took about 10 weeks to gather the pieces and 2 hours to put it together.
Closes with a lobster spring clasp.
Shown in 5th picture worn by Esperanza Spalding during her European Tour (picture received from her stylist 12-8-12).
All Alberto Juan jewelry comes in a protective Velvet black bag also shown in some listings.
