The Amazon Queen (Hippolyta) was the fiercest of the mythological female warrior, although described as single-breasted in the story, in sculpture and art, she's always rendered with her womanly attributes intact. In her hair, she wears the moon of Diane the huntress, her patron goddess. This bronze sculpture was cast using the Lost Wax Method and it is mounted on a marble base.
