Folk Carved and Polychrome Painted Wood Door Stop, Hound with Puppies, attributed to Hazel Bohlen Carved and painted wood in black, red, green and light brown. The handle formed as a large hound propped on a log with two smaller dogs or puppies at the base, all carved from wood and painted, mounted to a painted wooden block in black and red. Label verso inscribed: "Door stop carved made by Hazel Bohlen. He had only 1 leg — lost other within the last number of years. He carved with his father and Maurice Keitner."
