Folk art fighting sword / machete with carved and painted wood serpent handle. Made to resemble the fictional lake monster 'Champ', who purportedly lives within the depths of Lake Champlain. Blade made in Birmingham, England.
L 34-1/2 in.
History: Found in a Vermont estate.
