Description

Large group of Rockingham-glazed pottery, twenty-six pieces total. Comprising two pitchers, a covered vessel, a bundt-form cake mold, an oval planter, a plate, and numerous bowls, cups, and dishes of graduated sizes, each with mottled brown glaze. American, 19th century.
Largest (Bowl): H 6-1/8 in. Opening Dia. 8-3/4 in.
Small (Cup): H 2-1/4 in. Opening Dia. 3-1/8 in

Condition

Overall excellent, some minor imperfections commensurate with use and age. Fine glaze craquelure throughout, commensurate with the Rockingham glaze technique; glaze remains mostly glossy overall, with some dulling to the rim of the dark brown oval shallow dish; scattered minor glaze bubble pops throughout; hairline crack noted to two pieces in photo as illustrated.
