Antique Berber unglazed clay storage jar from Morocco, dating from the early 20th century, with a rounded utilitarian form and a naturally aged dark brown surface marked by decades of use.
Hand-formed from natural clay and low-fired in a traditional rural kiln, this jar was originally used for storing oil, butter, and household provisions. Its unglazed surface and dense body reflect the functional pottery tradition of southern Morocco, where durability and practicality were essential.
