I created Oil On My Head to show a moment of deep spiritual peace and blessing. The painting features a figure in a calm, prayerful pose, with oil being poured over their head from above. I used different shades of blue and white to create a dream-like scene that feels like it is taking place in the clouds or a sacred space.

The waterfalls and white birds in the background represent purity and a sense of freedom. This work is about feeling chosen and supported by a higher power. It celebrates the quiet strength we find when we open ourselves up to receive grace and guidance. By using these symbols, I wanted to capture the feeling of being "anointed" and finding comfort in faith.
