Discovered in Northern Illinois, this point is crafted from a high-quality, tan-colored flint or chert, showcasing the classic keyhole-shaped side-notches and deeply concave base that define the Thebes typology. The flaking is intricate and displays the skillful workmanship of an early North American knapper. The surface exhibits a pleasing natural patina, adding depth and character.


While typically associated with hunting, artifacts of this quality and size are increasingly sought after by collectors of Pre-Columbian art and Native American antiques for their sculptural quality and historical significance. A genuine piece of American Paleo-history.
