This Native American-style coil basket is a round bowl shape. The pine needle coil structure is wrapped in two different natural grasses or fibers to create a pattern in colors of golden wheat and warm auburn brown. Its medium size is suitable as a dresser or console catchall, small fruit basket, plant holder, or a textural, natural decor piece all on its own. This style of basket weaving originated with and was popularized by the Hopi and Apache.
