A vintage early 20th century Thai Bronze Buddha figures. A pair of similar size and form but completely different in detail. Both display the Thai use of heavily decorated and garnished surfaces. Both covered in jeweled and mirrored ornament, Gilded overall. the bronzes are lost wax cast over a clay matrix visible in the bottom photos. Both in upward rising scarf and ribbon designs classic in Thai architecture and visual art tradition The size is 8.4" and 8.3" tall, width 4.75" and 5", depth 2.75" each.
