All six parts of Aristotle's Physics, published within the 1593 Latin edition of his works by the heirs of Andreas Wechel in Frankfurt and edited by the best editors of the time.
Copy from the estate of the physician Gottfried Heinrich Burghard (1705–1771), with his manuscript
ownership inscription inside the endpaper of the first volume, dated September 20, 1729.
Burghard was a professor of mathematics and physics at the Gymnasium in Brieg (now the district capital of Brzeg in southwestern Poland) from 1743.
Each of the six parts has its own title page and Wechel's printer's mark. – A fine and well-preserved copy.
The front endpaper contains two further old ownership inscriptions.
