A series eight (8) homoerotic illustrations by the British artist "Happyface" (as coined by Thomas Waugh in Out/Lines: Gay Underground Graphics from before Stonewall, 2002). [1] Happyface was a homoerotic artist particularly active throughout the 1950s, and remains an enigma within most art scholarship. Happyface's work is known for featuring men of all backgrounds engaged in hookups and orgies with beaming smiles. While his exact identity remains unknown, his presence can be seen within collections of gay underground art throughout Europe and North America.
