Fine circa 1760 Pennsylvania Chippendale mahogany lowboy (or possibly highboy base) with ball and claw feet, carved knees, fluted 1/4 columns, and shell-carved center drawer. One piece top with shaped corners. 45.5 in long x 23.5 deep by 35.5 in tall.CONDITION REPORT: Condition overall is very good. There are 3 return blocks missing, 2 behind front legs and one on back leg. Small piece of arabesque carving missing on left side of center drawer near shell. The small brass pull in the same center drawer is partially broken. The 2 locks on top drawer and right-side lower drawer are missing. Appears to have a good refinish job several years ago. The original castor wheels are missing. No scratches or other damage to the surfaces.
