with an inlaid Austrian one-thaler silver coin, dated "1780", surrounded by a repousse beaded border and a repousse and chased grapevine, and having an applied handle in the form of two snakes, hallmarked inside with a crowned "W", a fleur-de-lis, a crowned "85" in an octagonal cartouche, and an unidentified partial mark, French "weevil" import hallmark stamped on side.
