(G. M. T. Co. INC.) of New York, the set features a vibrant hand-painted floral motif known as Dekor 573. The decoration consists of large, stylized blossoms in shades of orange, purple, blue, and brownish-maroon interspersed with green foliage. The front of each canister is labeled in black script within a white cartouche for Coffee, Oatmeal, Barley, Rice, and Tea. Hand-painted black borders accent the lids and label panels, while the sides and backs are left in a plain white glaze. The underside of the canisters features a circular underglaze stamp in green containing the text G. M. T. Co. INC. GERMANY around the number 1162. Additional markings include Dekor 573 in green script, an incised number 542, and a stamped number 7.
