12 in tall. A pair of Italian glazed earthenware urns manufactured by Societa Ceramica Italiana (SCI) in Laveno. Each vessel is designed in a neoclassical Campagna-style form, featuring a wide flared rim over a tapering body and two opposing scroll-style volute handles. The handles are attached to a bulbous, ribbed lower section which sits on a circular pedestal foot atop a square plinth base. Both urns are finished in a monochrome white glossy glaze. The underside of each base features an impressed mark with the text SCI LAVENO ITALY. Height: 11 inches Base: 4.5 inches square.
