There are a few items in the brightly colored room - a table with a basket, a rug, and a chair. On the right side of the composition, a hand wearing a ring is extended towards the man with the pipe.

Unsigned, but acquired with a collection of the artist's work.

Michael William Eggleston (American, 20th Century) is a San Francisco Abstract Expressionist who studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and exhibited at the Bergen Artists Guild in New Jersey.
