Description
The deb that was, Mid century modern oil portrait of a young woman in a blue dress with blue eyes 23 x 29 tall signed Kathleen Barrett, framed in an antique white wood frame with a gold edging. Patrician/kennedyesque oil painting of a debutant women 21 years old college graduate being put out for presentation into society so she can attract a scion of Chicago industry husband the way it was done in the 19c to the 1960's when women started to take matters into their own hands. There is a lot of realism in this oil portrait and has a very Dorothy draper blue kind of feel to it. Very well done
