This is a fine late 19th century carved wooden sculpture depicting two wrestlers. The work is finely detailed and very expressive in a heated moment of a match. The figures are wrestling on a patch of grass. Condition is excellent. It dates c. 1880. The surface has its original oxidized patina. Circa: 1880. Dimensions: Height: 8", Width: 8", Depth: 6".
