The complete album comprised of 10 woodcuts in colors or black and white on Kinwashi rice paper, hors-texte, each pencil signed, "R. Bailey," numbered "295/300" in the lower margin, and tipped to their original Arches paper support sheets from the verso of their upper margin corners; together with the series of printed poems by L.S. Davidson Jr., the colophon numbered "295" in brown pencil, and the title pages, all on Arches paper, together with the original interleaving tissues; the album bound as issued within beige fabric-covered boards with the printed title and spine; Roy Bailey and L.S. Davidson Jr., prntrs.; The Winter Months Press, Nantucket, MA, pub.
Largest woodcut (on rice paper) sheet: 14 1/4 x 9 1/8in; Bound (Arches) sheets: 15 x 11 1/8in

Each of the woodcuts, all on rice paper, with full margins and the colors fresh. Most of the woodcut sheets with one or more small, approximately pea-sized, stains attendant with the glue originally used to tip them from the verso of their margin corners to their Arches paper support sheets. A few of the woodcuts have subsequently detached from their support sheets due to the natural drying of these small spots of glue. Slight time staining along the margin edges of the Arches paper support and/or text sheets. Some of the original interleaving tissues with an occasional small crease from handling. Several short, stray, pencil marks at the outer edges of a few of the support sheets, not affecting the woodcuts sheets. The inside cover and first blank sheet with a few small notations by previous owners. The beige fabric-covered boards and spine with minor surface soiling and shelf wear.
