Latin America, Mexico, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A pair of unmarked Spratling workshop silver and ebony earrings composed of circular ebony discs surmounted by smaller silver roundels. Each element is bordered with applied silver granules that frame both the wood and metal components. The earrings are fitted with stud posts and retain their original silver backings. No maker's marks are present; marks are typically found along the edge of the silver settings on this known Spratling pattern, but none are visible on these examples. Size: 1.1" L x 0.9" W (2.8 cm x 2.3 cm); silver quality: 92%
