The preface, composed by hand, in Garamont Corps 24, was completed on December 10, 1963 on the presses of l'Imprimerie Union in Paris.
D examples were drawn, numbered from I to D, and XL non-commerce examples marked from H.C.
I to H.C.
XL. Examples I to LXXV are accompanied by an original etching, printed on the presses of the ateliers Crommelynck, numbered and signed by the artist.
