This lot features two vintage American pressed glass pedestal compotes. The first piece is a solid deep ruby red compote in the Coronation pattern, attributed to the Indiana Glass Company. The form includes a ruffled and scalloped rim with a body decorated by large circular medallions bordered by radiating foliate and fan-like motifs. The stem and foot are ribbed, and the underside of the base features a molded radial sunburst pattern. The second piece is an Amberina pressed glass compote in the Moon and Star pattern, attributed to the L.E. Smith Glass Company. The glass transitions in a gradient from ruby red at the rim to golden amber at the base. The pattern consists of raised circular medallions containing embossed stars. This example features a flared, ruffled rim and an underside base decorated with six molded eight-pointed stars arranged in a circular pattern. No alphanumeric maker marks are present on either item.
