25.5x66 A large full length wall mirror designed in the Rococo Revival style. The rectangular frame features an arched crest and is decorated with elaborate molded ornamentation including scrolling acanthus leaves, C-scrolls, and rose blossom clusters at the corners and mid-points. The frame is finished in a burnished gold-tone gilt. Construction appears to be a composite molding over a wood frame. The mirror plate is flat and non-beveled. The reverse of the mirror is covered in brown backing paper and includes two metal D-ring hangers for vertical mounting. A printed instructional label is present on the reverse, along with the handwritten number 977.
