Description
27x40 This is a large architectural wall mirror designed in a Neoclassical revival style, likely dating from the late 20th century or early 21st century. The frame is constructed from wood and composite materials with a distressed finish. It features a prominent, projecting cornice-style pediment at the top and a matching molded base. Both the top and bottom sections are ornamented with embossed scrolling foliate and floral patterns in an aged bronze tone with dark patination. The vertical side rails have a flat profile with a heavily distressed off-white paint finish. The rectangular mirror plate is set with a beveled edge. The reverse shows modern construction with a wood-composite backing board secured by staples and offset clips. It is equipped with a braided wire hanging system attached to D-ring brackets on the vertical rails.
