18x27x23 A mid-20th century mahogany side table manufactured by the Imperial Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. This piece is designed in the Federal Revival style, characterized by a bow-front silhouette and two stacked drawers. The top features an inset leather surface finished with a gold-tooled scrolling border. The table is supported by four square tapered legs; the front two legs are embellished with carved oval medallions and reeded detailing. All legs terminate in brass-capped feet fitted with casters. The drawers are constructed with dovetail joinery and are fitted with brass swing bail pulls on decorative backplates. The interior of the drawer bears a stamped mark in gold ink featuring a crown symbol above a shield containing the word Imperial in script, with Grand Rapids, Michigan and Since 1903 printed below.
