This lot features a 50-star United States internment flag manufactured by Phoenix Industries of Huntsville, Alabama. The flag is constructed with sewn red and white stripes and a blue canton featuring embroidered white stars. A white canvas header is attached to the hoist side and contains a printed manufacturer label that reads INTERMENT FLAG, PHOENIX INDUSTRIES, HUNTSVILLE, AL, MADE IN USA. The flag is accompanied by a blue vinyl zippered storage case bearing the American Legion emblem and six white stars. Also included is a typed card titled The American Flag Being Flown Honors which identifies the veteran as Frank C.
