Description

This pair of mid-century hanging lamp was manufactured during the Jet Age period of the Space Race and America's obsession with speedy flight and reaching to the stars.

It shows all the hallmarks of its era with a hand-machined aluminum body and decorative brass ring along the bottom with side rails meet the top with rocket-like fins and an aluminum crown. It truly captures the era of design and progress in America.
