A striking urban geological production, issued in 1965 by the Geological Survey of Queensland as a 6-sheet map measuring about 125 x 146 cm overall (49.2 x 57.5 in.). The map is important because it turns Brisbane’s bedrock, relief, and mining data into a metropolitan planning and engineering tool; Queensland government site assessments were still citing the City of Brisbane Geological Map by sheet number decades later. .
