Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) was a Finnish-Swedish ceramicist, designer and sculptor, recognised as one of the most important ceramic designers in the Nordic region. As artistic director at Rorstrand from 1931, he created some of the factory most iconic stoneware series, celebrated for their organic forms, refined silhouettes and innovative glazes.
