  • Title: Vintage Cognac Baltic Amber Necklace, Bursztyn, Poland, 22".
  • Description: Vintage Cognac Baltic Amber Necklace, 22" with original tag (foreign Burnsztyn (Poland) amber). Cognac nuggets with irregular shapes and inclusions. Knotted between each nugget and with a gold tone lobster clasp which I believes dates it to being made int he 1980's-1990's - with the amber being much, much older than that. Slightly graduated with the smaller ones at the clasp end and the larger ones at the front ranging from appx. 1/2" up to slightly over 3/4" The amber is baltic amber and passes the bluelight test with areas of blue flourescene and also the static test of rubbing and picking up small pieces of paper or thread. Very good condition. This necklace came from an amber collector where many pieces came up for sale at the estate auction. (W51323.4X4 SS10599 J LD 5/15/23).
