  • Description: Sterling Spiral Modernist Clip Earrings, Signed A & K Denmark, AARRE & KROGH who started in business in 1949 and continued into the 1990's. They were known for their modernist design using a lot of foliage and flowers. These earings look more like a naurtilus shell to me. They have a spiral ridged engraved design with a 5mm raised half ball bead in the center. They are appx. 1" long. Signed sterling A & K and Denmark on both earrings. The clips hold on the ears and do not slide off . I always tests by putting on, shaking head to be sure the clips hold. These can be polished but I do not polish vintage pieces as many collectors want them as is. These are in very good condition and age is estimated at 1950's-1960's.
