  • Description: Vintage Sterling Teardrop Floating Hematite Necklace, 18", 1980's-1990's. The chain is 18" and and appx. 1mm wide. Spring clasp. This is marked .925 and tested with an appx. weight of 2.83 gr. It has an appx. 1" long pendant that is an open teardrop frame with a smaller frame dangling inside from which a black stone that tests as a diamond, drops that is appx. 2.5mm round. It was tested several times. Tested on a Presidium tester which is not the only tool that should be used when identifying stones but it points you in the direction to do further tests or helps you identify what the stone is not. It is a very nice necklace with some light oxidation that is marked .925 at the clasp and signed with F. Very good conditon. (W72322.1X1 SS8219 J LD 10/8/22).
