This bronze Buddha from Ayutthaya is seated on a throne with three steps and a royal peaked base, wearing royal regalia. His hands are in the dhanya mudra, associated with concentration, tranquility, and deep meditation. This piece was cast using the lost wax method, and is completely gilded.
