This is an impressive fine quality tall back and deep seated throne chair with elegant flowing arms and a beautiful carved stretcher in the front the upholstery, however has seen better days. There are holes and worn spots on the seat and back and the fabric on the back of the chair needs to be replaced also the seat filling is lumpy but it has a beautiful shabby appeal as is, if you like that look. The subject matter of the needlepoint is so typically Victorian with the courting couple on the back and a pair of love birds on the seat executed in dark earthy tones.

The chair itself is in good condition and is 46 inches high, 22.5 wide and 26 deep the seat is 17 inches high, 21 inches wide and 19 inches deep.
