A Fine Antique Pennsylvania Folk Art Redware Preserve Jar With an Albany Glaze, 1870's

Most likely made in Lancaster or Chester County, PA circa 1860-1880

Found in Lancaster County, PA

Superb small size, perfect for a small berry preserves. Nice shaped top lip, and a coggle wheel decoration band in the centre of the jar. Dark Albany glazed surface.

Small preserve jars of this size are super rare and hard to find!

Size: 4" across, 5" tall

Condition: Excellent as found condition. Shiny glaze, very light wear. Minor wear from age and use.
