Vintage English Handmade Floral Still Life Tapestry

Description

In 1839, France first introduced silk-woven portraits and landscape paintings. Brocade paintings were very fashionable interiors in 19th century Europe. Among them, the brocade paintings of France and Belgium are the most famous. This large-scale brocade painting produced in the mid-20th century uses linen material. The use of many colors emphasizes the nature of the material and its tactile plasticity. The picture is retro and elegant, with an art deco effect.
