This German map traces the travels in red of the Polish explorer Stefan Rogozinski in 1883 who was planning at one point to establish a Polish colony in Cameroon. He was also comissioned by the British to act as their agent in the interior. The Germans were upset by this, nonetheless Germany did win control of Cameroon and established German Kamerun (1884-1914). The routes of other four western explorers are shown as well. Babtist Missionary posts are shown. Lots more detail fill the map, including topography, volcanoes, rivers, lakes, settlements.
