Bio:
Evald Nielsen (1879–1958) was a Danish silversmith and a central figure in Danish silver design during the first half of the twentieth century. He founded his workshop in Copenhagen in 1905 and became known for elegant and functional cutlery patterns as well as silver hollowware. His designs evolved from Art Nouveau influences toward a more restrained classical style during the interwar period.
