The diamond is graded by GIA as D color and VS2 clarity (see picture 4), placing it at the highest color grade available. Its bright appearance highlights the elegant teardrop outline that makes the pear cut so distinctive. The diamond is secured in a refined setting with slim double prongs that along with the slender platinum band keeps the focus on the center gemstone. With its elegant proportions and finest quality diamond, this platinum ring works beautifully as an engagement ring. Made of platinum (stamped), the ring features an 1.71-carat natural pear brilliant cut diamond. It comes with a GIA Natural Diamond Grading Report stating it as D color and VS2 clarity with good polish and symmetry and faint fluorescence (see picture 4). The GIA Report number is inscribed on the diamond girdle.
The ring is size 6.25 and is re-sizable. It weighs 5.8 grams.
The shank is stamped with a hallmark for platinum.
