A vintage René Boivin necklace, made of 18k gold and featuring diamonds and cabochon emeralds. It has a structured collar necklace style with a chain that features a smooth, flexible herringbone pattern. It is made of 18 karat yellow gold, cabochon emeralds (approximately 3.20 carats total weight) and round brilliant cut diamonds (G color, VS1 clarity, total weight approximately 1.29 carats). This Rene Boivin necklace measures 15 1/2" x 1/8" (39 x 0.3 cm); the gems-set pendant measures 1 5/8” x 1 3/8” (4.1 x 3.3 cm). The necklace weighs 27.1 grams. The vintage necklace is stamped with Rene Boivin maker's mark, French hallmark for 18 karat gold and 750.
