Description

Bronze, made by the lost wax process. A bee's wax original pattern is encased in the mold material. It is melted out and replaced by the molten bronze which solidifies as an identical reproduction of the wax pattern. Size 7 1/2, 2.3mm thickness, though irregular as made. Low rounded face. Surface encrusted from burial and is in excellent preservation as found. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
